Police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the face in a brazen late-night attack.
A teenage boy is in hospital after he was stabbed in the face and arm during an ambush at a home in Sydney’s west.
Police have set up a crime scene at the Takura Rd home in South Penrith after a group of six youths entered the home about 11.50pm Sunday.
Officers were told the group stabbed a 14-year-old boy in his face, left arm and left hand.
The group fled the scene in two cars.
The 14-year-old boy was rushed to Nepean Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command are now investigating the incident and have established a crime scene at the home.
Police wish to speak to anyone who was in the area or may have dashcam vision from the time of the incident.
