Mr Rees-Mogg has accused “deceitful” and “underhand” MPs of trying to hatch a plan to block a no deal Brexit, according to the MailOnline. The Tory MP also said MPs were too scared to call a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister as it would lead to a massive defeat for Jeremy Corbyn and his Labour party in a snap election.

Mr Rees-Mogg went to Balmoral to gain the Queen’s approval for suspending Parliament last week.

Opponents of Mr Johnson include former Chancellor Philip Hammond who hopes to take control of the Commons agenda from the Government this week, allowing laws to be passed which would halt a no deal Brexit.

However, Mr Rees-Mogg wrote in The Daily Mail that this type of “politicking” was “unconstitutional”, and that Mr Johnson’s opponents are “too frightened” to call for a vote of no confidence.

He wrote: “They dare not use the confidence procedures because they know that Jeremy Corbyn is too unpopular.”

He also said in his article that Remainers risk sabotaging plans to plough millions into public services.

He said: “The Chancellor has made clear it will focus on voters’ priorities – schools, education, health and the police and it may be unwise for the Commons to stand in the way of the recruitment of 20,000 more police officers, or to prevent more than £14 billion being committed to our schools.”

He has also urged the House Speaker John Bercow not to interfere in the process.

He claimed Mr Bercow “is bound by a requirement to represent the whole House of Commons, and by implication the whole of the UK, not a single view of their choosing.”

He continued: “It is now time to end this paralysis in the two chambers and allow the new Prime Minister, with all his natural vim and vigour, to bring this chapter in our island story to a conclusion.”

It comes as a Deltapoll survey for The Mail on Sunday predicted that the Conservative Party would gain a majority of 28 seats in an election.

The poll also predicted that if Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party stood aside, then the Tories would gain a majority of 84 seats.

Mr Corbyn’s Labour party was at 24 percent, which puts the Tories 11 points ahead.

If Mr Farage was persuaded not to run any candidates then the Tories would be on 41 percent, with a 15 point lead over Labour.

The survey suggests that half of all Brexit supporters support an electoral pact between the Conservatives and the Brexit Party, rising to almost eight out of ten Brexit Party supporters.

The poll shows that only a third of respondents believed Mr Johnson who he said that he was proroguing Parliament.

Voters were split down the middle when they were asked whether they agreed with the move with 34 percent in favour, and 36 percent against.

Only half of the respondents think that Mr Johnson will only be Prime Minister for a year or less, while 10 percent believe he will be in Downing Street for five years or more.

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby also told Remoaners to “stop whingeing” and respect democracy.

The Archbishop claimed that pro-EU voters had to “take seriously the fact that the majority voted to leave”.

He added that “we may not like it, but that is democracy”.

According to the Church Times, Archbishop Welby had been ready to chair a “citizens forum”, which had the aim to help avoid a no deal Brexit.

He warned that the country must come together behind a “vision for this country that is outward-looking, is done top-down, middle-out and bottom-up.”
