A horrified bride-to-be shared a video of the look her make-up artist did in a trail ahead of the big day – and it’s safe to say she was not impressed.
In the clip, TikTok user @timberahh explains that she showed her make-up artist a photo of the look she hoped to echo on her wedding day.
As shown in the footage, the model has an understated smoky eye coupled with subtle nude lipstick and big statement brows framing the delicate look.
Unfortunately, when her make-up artist had a go, the bride-to-be looked more like she was heading on a night out or trying to dress up like a goth.
The over-the-top make-up included black eyeshadow extending nearly all the way up to her brow bones and eyebrows that looked obviously smudged on.
Sharing the clip on TikTok, she wrote: “When your wedding make-up trial goes horribly wrong.”
The video has been watched more than 86,000 times since it was uploaded on Friday, May 7, and many women have expressed sympathy about the blunder, while others found it hilarious.

One shocked viewer said: “Urm this was your 12-year old sister who did this right? Not a professional?”
“Well, at least it was a trial and not the day of the wedding,” chipped in another user.
A third joked: “Tell me they didn’t know how to blend makeup without telling me they didn’t know how to blend make-up.”
Someone else said: “This is why I’m so scared to book someone before doing a trial but I’m doing a destination wedding and I can’t go before.”
The woman who uploaded the video said she was “classy” about the blunder and decided to use a different make-up artist.
She said: “I paid them for the trial, I walked out really classy.
“I went and got make-up wipes from Target and then I found someone else.”
