And 40 per cent have stopped oral sex after a study found evidence of coronavirus in semen.
The poll of 1,000 people by sexual health brand Pasante [must keep] found a quarter of Brits are having less sex during lockdown.
They blame stress, tiredness or an annoying partner.
Some 20 per cent of adults fear catching Covid during sex and 34 per cent of singletons have stopped meeting new partners during lockdown.
But more people are having telephone sex or getting saucy over Zoom.
Chloe Francis-Smith, from Pasante Healthcare, said: “So long as it is safe to do so and within government guidelines, we encourage couples to maintain intimacy during these uncertain times.
“Sometimes, having sex can make you feel more energised and is exactly what you need, even if it can feel quite the opposite.
“Masturbation, sex toys or having phone or online sex are the best ways to pleasure yourself and abstain from ‘casual sex’, whilst the restrictions are still in place.”
