The tech mogul also regularly updates his X followers about his mission with posts, and his recent one has baffled people. “Hello India. I’ve been told the only person who believes in Don’t Die is @iPoonampandey.We’re about to change that. I’m in Mumbai Dec 1-3 and Bangalore 4-6. #मरनामत (Don’t Die),” he wrote on X.
The tech mogul claimed Poonam Pandey is the only one who believes in “Don’t die” – a tagline the billionaire often uses while talking about efforts that can potentially extend human lifespans.
A few months earlier, Johnson started using this Hindi tagline, which sparked widespread confusion. The X post sparked chuckles, with some suggesting that his signature hashtag got messed up during translation.

Bryan Johnson’s post quickly gained traction online, with many users expressing excitement over his trip to India. Some also offered to accompany him during his India visit and show him around.
“You cannot leave bangalore without meeting us. There is a lot we are doing at @Rainmatterin to make Indians healthy @Nithin0dha. Come we will host you,” wrote entrepreneur Dilip Kumar.
“Hey Bryan, we’re doing some super cool research on aging at Longevity India. @Longevity_IISc We’d love to have you visit us at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore!” commented another user. “Welcome to India! Looking forward to more Indian cuisine-esque meal suggestions,” said a third X user.
“If you seriously believe what you’re doing works, the best way to show it to the world is by visiting Delhi right now. Anyone can survive Mumbai or Bangalore,” wrote a user named Abhinav Kukreja.

Earlier in February, Poonam Pandey faked her death in the name of creating cervical cancer awareness purportedly aimed at “raising awareness for cervical cancer”. The stunt backfired and the model was trolled mercilessly online. Many users criticised her for resorting to extreme measures, accusing her of “faking her death” for publicity.

Schbang, the digital marketing agency responsible for the Poonam Pandey campaign, issued an apology. The digital agency also said that the ‘act’ pulled off by Poonam Pandey resulted in making ‘Cervical Cancer’ and its related terms the most searched ‘topics on Google’. The agency went on to assure readers that such an act would never happen again.
In the same month, a Rs 100 crore defamation case was slapped against Poonam Pandey and her former husband Sam Bombay. Faizan Ansari, a resident of Mumbai, had filed a lawsuit stating that Ms Pandey and Mr Bombay orchestrated a ‘false conspiracy of death’, thus trivialising the seriousness of cancer for their gains, and manipulated the emotions of people.
