Hollywood heavyweight Matt Damon has been in Australia with his family since January this year, to film the latest Thor Installment.
And it seems that the Bourne Identity star, 50, is well and truly settling in like a local.
On Tuesday, the A-lister hilariously did a live cross on the American program, the Today Show, live from a TAB and was asked about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s reunion.

Matt is believed to have done the live cross from a TAB in Byron Bay, where he has been based in recent months.
He hilariously said during the interview: ‘I’m in Australia, I’m having a beer. The people at the local club were nice enough to leave it open just so that I could do this (interview).’
He added: ‘They’ve got the best internet connection in this neighbourhood where I am.’
Matt was probed about his friend Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s reunion, after they were spotted earlier this week heading off on a private jet for a romantic getaway to Montana, fueling reconciliation rumours.
Matt said: ‘I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.’
Co-host Savannah Guthrie said: ‘We need to talk about something,’ as Hoda Kotb added: ‘Very important topic.’
‘You’re friend Ben Affleck, and a little thing we call Bennifer,’ Savannah stated. ‘How do you like them apples?’
Matt looked uncomfortable after she said that during the virtual interview.
The movie star burst into laughter and then said: ‘There’s not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about that.’
Hoda pushed on: ‘Did the news make it to Australia? How did you even know that Bennifer was a thing again, possibly.’
‘I just heard you guys waiting to come on TV. It’s the first time I heard about it,’ he said, looking away from the hosts.
‘And what did you think?’ Savannah pressed on.
‘It’s a fascinating story,’ he said as they laughed.
‘I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome,’ he added.
The On the Floor hitmaker has been spending time with her former fiancé over the last few weeks following the end of her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
Matt meanwhile, has been in Australia with his family since January.
He has been based in Byron Bay, where Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth lives in a $30million mansion.
The Martian actor has been travelling between Bryon Bay and Sydney by private jet to film scenes for the Marvel film, Thor: Love and Thunder.
On Friday, Matt stopped by a charity luncheon in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, which raised funds for the domestic violence charity, Safe Haven.
