Chartered Accountants Benevolent Association (CABA) has announced a new intake of trustees joining the board.

The three new trustees, Angela Catlin, Fay Ashwell and Natalie Hall will aim to support the board in its ambition to “fairly and inclusively” represent the profession and the community CABA supports

Catlin who is a chartered accountant with over nine years’ banking experience, qualified at Lloyds Banking Group where she has held various roles in tax reporting, technical accounting and strategy. She has spent the last two years as an associate director within the investor relations team at Lloyds Banking Group.

For the last 13 years, Ashwell has been executive director and COO at Oxford University Endowment Management. Prior to this, she spent eight years at the Wellcome Trust.

Hall, an EMCC-accredited senior coach practitioner, specialises in emotional intelligence, resilience and wellbeing coaching for leaders and organisations. Prior to establishing her coaching and wellbeing consultancy businesses, she was a M&A partner at Deloitte and worked in the professional services industry for 18 years, obtaining her ACA in 2003.

Kaaeed Mamujee, president, CABA, said: “Between them, all of our new trustees have varied and complementary experience in the accountancy sector. Angela and Fay bring extremely strong investment and management backgrounds to the Board, which means they understand the world in which our members are operating and the pressures they face.

“We recognise the need to be progressive in our strategic thinking and delivery of service and it is for this reason I am delighted with the addition of our new trustees to the Board. They join us at a difficult time, when our support is more vital than ever.”
