Cajun macaroni and cheese takes comfort food to a new level! This dish is delicious and so easy to prepare. My family loves baked macaroni and cheese so this doesn’t last long when I make it. Unlike a creamy macaroni and cheese, baking it creates a crispy topping that can be so addictive! Add andouille sausage and seasonings and you have a delicious dish that I’m sure your family will love.
Cajun Macaroni and Cheese
Andouille Sauage (can use smoked sausage or smoked turkey sausage)
Elbow macaroni
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Butter
Evaporated milk
Cajun seasoning
Smoked paprika
Black pepper
Recipe Notes: Feel free to use smoked sausage instead of Andouille if that is what your family enjoys. You can also use turkey smoked sausage. We make our own Cajun seasoning but you can easily buy it at any grocery store.
