My parents passed a while ago and I’m selling their southern California mid-century modern home. It desperately needs some fresh paint. I’m way, way out of my depth with this and would greatly appreciate some help.
The realtor wants to paint the house a light-to-mid gray with white trim and an orange door.

I know that the mid-century modern style would call for a bold color, but I’d also like to make sure it appeals to a wide range of people as I’m ultimately choosing someone else’s future home color.

The door to be painted orange is a metal security screen door so I think the orange there might be a bit too much.
Here’s a gallery of the house.
Here’s a bad, hasty photoshop I did of the house with a gray exterior and white trim.
