How will the iOS 15 vaccination record feature work?
Added to the wallet app, iPhone users will reportedly soon be able to carry their COVID-19 vaccination card virtually.
iOS 15 users can link their COVID vaccination cards into the Health app, which will integrate into the wallet app, displaying vaccination information and a QR code.
As per this source: “when a user presents a vaccination card in wallet, the full details of the vaccination card will not be visible until the user has unlocked their iPhone with Face ID, Touch ID or their passcode.”

What can the Apple wallet vaccine card be used for?
First and foremost, the digital vaccine card is a way of proving that you’ve been vaccinated.
The handy Apple wallet feature is useful for attending large-scale events and venues, providing organizers with which medical provider administered the vaccine, which vaccine was received and the dates of each dose.

According to this source, iPhone users can upload documentation via a QR code via their provider, a downloadable file from by their provider, or through a ‘connected healthcare institution’ using Health Records on iPhone.
This information can be added to the Apple Health app.
