Manchester City have reigned supreme in the Carabao Cup over the past few years, winning the competition in four consecutive years. They beat Tottenham in last year’s final 1-0 with Aymeric Laporte scoring the winning goal. The Premier League elite will be hoping to halt City’s run this time around though with a number of teams through to the fourth round.
Liverpool made light work of Norwich despite Jurgen Klopp making a host of changes to their starting line-up.
The Carabao Cup will also be an opportunity for teams further down the table to English league ladder to enjoy a strong run with QPR and Stoke upsetting Premier League sides Everton and Watford respectively.
The draw takes place following the conclusion of Wednesday evening’s matches. Express Sport provides live updates from the draw below.
