Arguing about adult content on cruise ships has been a common topic on various cruise message boards.
Some people don’t appreciate adult comedy shows even when they are clearly marked 18+ while others want the comedians to work even more blue. Pretty much any content offends someone.

There are passengers who think that some PG material at an all-ages show goes too far and other who question the outfits worn by various performers. Anything creative will draw criticism and shows or acts that are intentionally racy will outrage someone.
Passengers also like to complain about the bathing suits some passengers wear at all-ages pools. There are women in thongs and men in Speedos, both of which some passengers consider inappropriate.
There are, however, some “shows,” unintentional or otherwise, that cruise lines don’t want passengers putting on or seeing.
Carnival Cruise Line recently shared a situation where it had to share a warning with passengers. Doug Parker from Cruise News Today had the full story.

Princess Cruises fights norovirus again

Good morning. Here’s your cruise news for Thursday, January
Another cruise ship is dealing with a norovirus outbreak marking the fifth outbreak of the year. Princess Cruises Coral Princess has reported 59 passengers with a gastrointestinal Illness during its current 16-night voyage to Fort Lauderdale.
Now the ship currently sailing through Central America has Isolated impacted individuals and is following CDC protocols a deep cleaning was performed yesterday when the ship stopped in Port Arenas, Costa Rica.
Coral Princess is scheduled to arrive in Port Everglades on February 5.
Carnival Cruise Line shares key warning; Royal Caribbean ship coming early
Carnival Cruise Line is reminding guests to keep their curtains closed while in port to maintain privacy.
Yeah, the reminder comes after a recent incident where a couple on a balcony stateroom unknowingly provided a show for a neighboring ship because certain lighting conditions make cabins more visible.Â
Carnival encourages guests to be mindful and close their curtains when dressing or moving around their staterooms to avoid unwanted exposure because some sites are best left off the itinerary.Â
And Royal Caribbean is launching its new Star of the Seas, an Icon class ship earlier than expected adding two short cruises before its official inaugural sailing. Originally set to debut on August 31, the ship will now begin sailing on August 23 with two four-night sailings from Port Canaveral Including stops at Perfect Day.

Now the thrilled passengers booked on the original cruise can keep their reservation or switch to one of the earlier sailings if they wish. The August 31 departure will remain the ship’s official inaugural voyage.Â
