IT’S lining up to be the show to watch in 2021 – and now ITV bosses have put a new twist on Starstruck.
A show insider said: “Bosses have decided to get the contestants up on stage as a trio.
“Each trio will be emulating one star. Along with being dressed as them, they will have been given training by creative teams and voice coaches to make sure they’re the best they can be. It is then Sheridan and Adam’s decision as to who will go through to the final.
“Contestants who make it that far will compete again as solo acts in a bid to win a five-figure cash prize.
“It’s a really fun twist and should make for entertaining viewing.
“There are no constraints on who can enter, so they could be professionals or total novices.”
As I revealed, show bosses are still on the hunt for a third judge.
They have already set their sights on Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall but are yet to clinch the deal.
I would love it if she joined.
But either way, the show is gearing up to be one of the most interesting series in a long time.
Liz gets dragged into race
Liz Hurley will add even more glamour to RuPaul’s Drag Race UK when she appears as a guest judge.
Liz recently revealed her family would have “disowned” her if she hadn’t agreed to take part, and she even said her drag name would be Betty Bang Bang.
Amazing tail of brave Paul
George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces returns with the inspirational story of a man with PTSD saved from taking his own life.
He thanks the emergency services heroes who stopped him from jumping off a cliff.
The Channel 4 show, back on Thursday, features ex-fireman Paul Weller and his partner Roxie Carpenter, a police officer.
They convert an old fire engine into a mobile bar to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Paul says: “I found myself on Beachy Head (in East Sussex), with a helicopter and stuff – people talking me down.
“And if it wasn’t for The Fire Fighters Charity and their help – rehabilitation, counselling – I would not be here.
“I was at the stage where I had nothing left because I was at the edge.
“I was ready to end it.”

So it’s not just me who has gained a little weight during lockdown this year.

The reality star has started AmberFlexx, which is a mix of cardio combat moves.
Amber got together with the team behind Davina McCall’s workout DVDs and says she has shifted her excess lockdown weight in just six weeks. Her plan starts today at amberflexx.com.
Just in time to help with the post-Christmas bloat.
Pro dancer Dianne Buswell has told Hello! magazine the three men she would like to be partnered with on Strictly Come Dancing are film star Hugh Jackman, Prince William and his brother Prince Harry.
No prizes for guessing which would cost the most to sign up.
Disney+ is going to war with Netflix and Sky by offering telly fans new shows and some old ones too.
As well as classics such as The X Files, Disney’s new brand Star will have originals such as Big Sky – the latest programme from David E. Kelley, who is the man behind Big Little Lies.
