IT’S lining up to be the show to watch in 2021 – and now ITV bosses have put a new twist on Starstruck.
Wannabes who sign up for the reboot of Eighties hit Stars In Their Eyes will perform in groups rather than solo acts in an attempt to impress judges Sheridan Smith and Adam Lambert.

A show insider said: “Bosses have decided to get the contestants up on stage as a trio.
“Each trio will be emulating one star. Along with being dressed as them, they will have been given training by creative teams and voice coaches to make sure they’re the best they can be. It is then Sheridan and Adam’s decision as to who will go through to the final.
“Contestants who make it that far will compete again as solo acts in a bid to win a five-figure cash prize.
“It’s a really fun twist and should make for entertaining viewing.

“There are no constraints on who can enter, so they could be professionals or total novices.”
As I revealed, show bosses are still on the hunt for a third judge.
They have already set their sights on Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall but are yet to clinch the deal.
I would love it if she joined.

But either way, the show is gearing up to be one of the most interesting series in a long time.
Liz gets dragged into race
Liz Hurley will add even more glamour to RuPaul’s Drag Race UK when she appears as a guest judge.
The BBC Three show returns on January 14 – and the actress and model will be joining fierce host RuPaul, fellow guest panellist Graham Norton and regular judge Michelle Visage.

Liz recently revealed her family would have “disowned” her if she hadn’t agreed to take part, and she even said her drag name would be Betty Bang Bang.

The Channel 4 show, back on Thursday, features ex-fireman Paul Weller and his partner Roxie Carpenter, a police officer.
They convert an old fire engine into a mobile bar to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Paul says: “I found myself on Beachy Head (in East Sussex), with a helicopter and stuff – people talking me down.
“And if it wasn’t for The Fire Fighters Charity and their help – rehabilitation, counselling – I would not be here.

“I was at the stage where I had nothing left because I was at the edge.
“I was ready to end it.”
