One of the signature events of the men’s college basketball season is returning to Atlanta for the first time in more than a decade. The State Farm Champions Classic — a marquee doubleheader featuring four of the most accomplished programs in the history of the sport — tips off Tuesday night at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Michigan State takes on top-ranked Kansas, followed by a matchup between No. 6 Duke and No. 19 Kentucky.

State Farm has been the title sponsor of the Champions Classic since the inaugural doubleheader at Madison Square Garden in 2011. The event was previously held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in 2012. The event features three of the all-time winningest men’s college basketball programs: Kansas (first), Kentucky (second) and Duke (fourth). Michigan State has made 26 straight appearances in the NCAA tournament.
