Chelsea Green has been referring to herself as ‘The Comeback Kid’, hinting towards a possible WWE return.
Some fans expected Green to return during Royal Rumble 2021, however, that did not happen.
Now, WrestleMania 37 is coming up. There is no better time than this to make a return to WWE. It is possible that this time when she returns, the company will put her on the main roster.
Whether she goes to Raw or SmackDown, there is a plethora of Women Superstars she can challenge and have a storyline with.
Ideal brand for ‘The Comeback Kid’
There is a possibility the former NXT Superstar will debut on SmackDown. She has a better chance of being able to make an impact there than WWE Raw.
The red brand is well-dominated by Alexa Bliss. On top of that, Green’s last feud was with Charlotte Flair on NXT. If she debuts at WWE Raw, the WWE Universe will expect the company to put her in the rivalry she was in previously in.
If WWE wants to avoid that, the company should her in SmackDown.
On WWE SmackDown, WWE can put Green in any storyline, any rivalry, with whoever.
She can form a tag team with Bayley or Sasha Banks. On the other hand, she can join Bianca Belair to take down Banks. Not to forget, Carmella wants to be the next SmackDown Women’s Champion, so Green and Carmella can feud until the victor becomes the number one contender for the title.

Why did Chelsea Green take a break from wrestling?
Chelsea Green was on the track to become a star on WWE SmackDown. The plan was for her to win the Survivor Series qualifying match. However, during the match she broke her wrist, and Liv Morgan secured the victory.
She updated her fans, letting them know she won’t be back inside the ring for a while because of surgery.
The first time when she got a push by WWE, much of the credit went to Paul Heyman. During that time, he was the Executive Director of Raw, and believed that Green had the power to reach great heights in WWE.
If she returns now, there won’t be an Executive Director Paul Heyman giving her the push and talking her up to Vince McMahon.
