UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett showed incredible flexibility to beat Gian Villante via a roundhouse kick – and then immediately outdid himself with his celebration.
There’s nothing quite like watching a heavyweight do something they shouldn’t be able to do and after winning the fight, 120kg Barnett performed a front flip inside the octagon.
Barnett was down on the scorecards midway through the second round, when he delivered a moment that left those watching on almost as stunned as Villante, who ate a foot.

With the job somehow not done after connecting flush and dropping Villante, Barnett finished it on the ground, before running around the cage in a celebration that culminated in his front flip.
That was before Barnett paid his respects to the retiring Villante in an incredible show of sportsmanship.
Barnett implored the crowd to applaud his opponent.
“My man right here, two-week-old at home,” Barnett said.
“He’s about to retire, excellent football coach, got another son that’s 22 months. This is his town, this is his place, y’all stand up, cheer for my man.
“This might have been his last one, but this ain’t. He’s going to be riding with me from now on.”
The victory and the subsequent celebration left fans gobsmacked on social media.
While Barnett’s was the first knockout on the UFC 268 card, it certainly wasn’t the last, with five more finishes following his spectacular wheel kick.
Irishman Ian Garry announced himself with a first round stoppage in the early prelims, before Nassourdine Imavov, Chris Curtis and Bobby Green all put an early end to their prelim card fights.
That was before Alex Pereira, on debut, put a brutal end to Andreas Michailidis with a knee from the depths of hell to put the middleweight division on notice.
