Despite the tribulations from this year, one Sunshine Coast church is claiming ‘Hope is Here’.
Suncoast Church is preparing their annual Christmas show, set to perform across several nights this December.
Following six musical stories of song and dance, the show aims to share some of the Christmas spirit.
Showrunner and Producer, Mark Dunlop, said “with 2020 being a year that many of us might want to forget, we want to remind everyone that hope is still here.”
“This year’s show is designed to bring you all the warmth and joy that the Christmas message can bring with all the fun and cheer that comes with a show.”
Due to COVID-safe restrictions, the Hope is Here show has chosen to play across five shows across three days with ticket bookings required.
The performances are will be running from the 10th to the 13th December, with bookings to be made online.
Despite this year’s limitations, Lead Pastor of Suncoast Church Jonathan Gullo says Christmas is a time to remain optimistic.
He says “We believe Christmas reminds us of what’s most important in life and as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it’s a great way to remember that hope can come even in the most tumultuous of times – even through the birth of a child.”
