A concerned Holly Willoughby apparently was quick to share her £249 recommendation with Piers Morgan.
Piers sensationally quit Good Morning Britain just hours after he stormed out over a clash with weatherman Alex Beresford about Meghan Markle.
After a night of troubled sleep, the breakfast TV host quit the show and refused to apologise to the Duchess of Sussex because he firmly believed what he said which was that he didn’t believe anything she said in her Oprah chat.
Now Piers has revealed many of his famous friends, including pals at ITV, have reached out to him during his “jobless need”.
Among his pals, he said This Morning’s Holly had suggested he did a £249 session to get rid of some of his anger.
He wrote in The Daily Mail : ” Holly Willoughby was more concerned about my blood pressure from all the GMB ranting.”
The £249 session would run over seven hours which he could receive without leaving the luxury of his home.
It would provide training for a meditation technique which would include advice on ‘managing difficult situations’, ‘nailing interviews’ and ‘making hangovers less horrible’.
He shared their conversation went like this: “‘Do you meditate?’ she asked. ‘No,’ I replied, ‘but I did drink a ginseng latte today if you’re trying to woke me up?’ ‘You need more than that – do an online course to offset some of this anger!’
“Holly then sent me a link to one that costs £249 for seven hours of meditation technique training live-broadcasted to my home which would include advice on ‘managing difficult situations’, ‘nailing interviews’ and ‘making hangovers less horrible’.”
Piers also mentioned Jack Whitehall and Sir Michael Parkinson had been in touch following his swift departure from GMB.
There was no bad blood between Piers and ITV bosses though.
ITV boss Kevin Lygo said Piers is “irreplaceable” on Good Morning Britain.
The TV boss has lifted the lid on how ITV plan to plug the gaping hole Piers has left and keep viewers hooked for the future.
He told Deadline : “Piers is a special thing. You can’t replace somebody like him. There is nobody like Piers, for good or bad.
“We have a roster of presenters, including Ben Shephard, Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins, and Kate Garraway.”
