Congress Working Committee will hold a special meeting in Belagavi, Karnataka to mark 100 years of Mahatma Gandhi taking over as the President of the ‘grand old party’. The meeting will be held at the same venue where Gandhi took over presidentship of Congress.
The meeting will start at 2.30 pm on December 26 in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar. “On 27th December, ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bheem, Jai Samvidhan’ rally will be held at 1130 am with the participation of AICC members and party workers,” added Venugopal.
The CWC meeting with discuss an action plan and program for Indian National Congress for the next year and adopt two resolutions. Further, the meeting will deliberate on critical challenges facing the nation under BJP rule.
