I won’t go into the reasons but a flat backyard is a requirement for me. I really like this house but the backyard slopes up more than i’d like. I know if I wanted to get it re-graded i’d have to get approval/permits from the town but I have no idea what that process is like.
If I find the town department in charge of this, would they be able to tell me if it’s possible? Would they have to come out in person to look? Is there anyway to find out if it’s possible before buying the house?
