Crystal Palace’s best goals against Arsenal
Follow all the action as Crystal Palace host Arsenal in the Premier League this evening.
Palace will provide a crucial test for the Gunners in the top-four race. Arsenal are currently in fifth, level on points with Tottenham, but still boast two games in hand meaning the final Champions League spot remains theirs to lose as we enter the latter stages of the season. Arsenal won four of their last five league games prior to the international break, with their only defeat coming against Liverpool. Bukayo Saka has been in terrific form but was forced to pull out of the England squad after contracting Covid. The winger has since returned to training and has been deemed fit to start.
Patrick Vieira will be determined to lay waste to the plans of his former side, though, having already blown open the title race a couple of weeks ago. Palace held leaders Manchester City to a 0-0 draw before the break, allowing Liverpool to close the gap at the top, and the Eagles then followed that performance with an equally impressive 4-0 demolition of Everton in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Follow all the action live below:
Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal
76 mins: It really was very careless from Odegaard. Partey initially gave the ball away as he prepared to come off due to an injury. Zaha sprinted clear and, with three Arsenal shirts around him, Odegaard stuck out a foot to trip Zaha as he tried to turn back away from the goal.
Partey has now been replaced by Lokonga for Arsenal. Palace have also made a change as Edouard comes on for Ayew.

Crystal Palace 2-0 Arsenal
70 mins: Arsenal are undoubtedly growing into the match as Palace begin to (understandably) tire after the shift they put in during the first hour of this match.
Do the Gunners have enough time to turn this around?
Palace are making a chance as the sensational Jean-Philippe Mateta makes way for james McArthur.

68 mins: BIG CHANCE! Lovely play from Arsenal as Smith Rowe finds Nketiah and he pulls the ball back to the edge of the area for Odegaard. The Norwegian opens his body up and looks to pick out the bottom corner but it’s wide!

Crystal Palace 2-0 Arsenal
65 mins: Martinelli is down after a foul by Kouyate. It was knee on knee and probably a sore one for the Arsenal man.

Crystal Palace 2-0 Arsenal
63 mins: Oh that was a chance for Arsenal, their best of the game.
Martinelli breaks into the box and finds Lacazette. He offloads to Smith Rowe who is in on goal but can’t get the ball out of his feet and his tame shot is too close to Guaita.
The first time they’ve really carved open Palace.
