Former TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong has asked long-time pal Ferne McCann to be a bridesmaid at her upcoming wedding to fiancé Tommy Edney with a very lavish gesture

Danielle Armstrong plans to asks friends to be her bridesmaids
Danielle Armstrong has set the bar high for all other brides-to-be, by asking best pal Ferne McCann to be her bridesmaid via a stunning display.
While most give their future bridesmaids a card or a trinket as a way of asking them to be a part of their special day, the former TOWIE star opted for a bougie display and lavish gifts to pop the question to close friend Ferne and her other close girlfriends.
The mum-of-one, who is due to tie the knot with fiancé Tommy Edney next year, plumped for a unique balloon display to request her friends services as bridesmaids – complete with feathers and a sign which read: “Will you be my bridesmaids?”
ITVBe star Ferne was clearly bowled by the aesthetically pleasing gesture – taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to accept her former co-star’s request.
“Yes, YES, Yes. Wow feeling so overwhelmed and emotional,” the 31-year-old wrote as she shared a video of the stunning display.
The First Time Mum star then went on to reveal to other special touches Danielle had added.
Sharing a glass of pink fizz for the camera, a personalised balloon, complete with a single rose inside it, can be seen. The former TOWIE star also posed in front of the balloon display while holding the extra gift.
“I am beyond excited,” she captioned the shot, tagging the bride-to-be in the Story.
Danielle then makes an appearance, with the two long-time friends smiling for the camera as Ferne captioned the sweet shot: “I love you so much Mrs Edney to be.”
The 33-year-old is set to marry construction site manager Tommy some time next year. The happy couple are already parents to one-year-old daughter Orla.
Earlier this month, the reality TV star opened up about the early days of her relationship – revealing that pal Ferne actually played a part in the pair becoming an official couple.
Taking to social media in early August, the blonde beauty shared a video of herself snuggled up to her husband-to-be as they celebrated their second anniversary.

“Guys, it’s actually a very special day today. Exactly two years ago, Tom asked me to be his girlfriend,” the former TOWIE start told her followers on Instagram.
Groom-to-be Tommy interjected, claiming: “I was bullied in to it. I actually was!”
Danielle seemed to agree, going on to reveal how her reality TV star friend was involved in her getting serious with her future husband.
Reminiscing about the night, she said: “We was in Marbella. We’d basically been talking for about two weeks, obviously known each other for years, and we were sitting around a table with Ferne [McCann] and some friends.
“Basically did I tell you or did Ferne say it? Basically I went to Ferne ‘should I ask him to ask me to be his girlfriend’?”
Tommy protested again to exclaim: “I’d only been there a day! I hadn’t even unpacked my case!”
Danielle continued: :”And I went, do you think you might want to ask me a question?”
The pair went on to become blissfully happy – with Danielle giving birth to their first child together in May last year, two months after Tommy proposed.
