Date of Mawlid al-Nabi
According to the Prime Minister’s decision, Mawlid al-Nabi will fall on Thursday, September 4, corresponding to Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, 1447 AH.
This will be an official paid holiday for employees in both the public and private sectors.
Including the Friday and Saturday weekend, employees will receive three consecutive days off.

September includes nine official holidays – the Prophet’s Birthday in addition to eight weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays, as follows:
- Thursday, September 4, 2025: Official holiday to mark the Prophet’s Birthday.

- Saturday, September 6, 2025: Weekend.
- Friday, September 12, 2025: Weekend.
