Deloitte has announced it has appointed three new partners to its UK Financial Advisory business, as well as the appointment of Claire Goodier as a director.
Goodier joins the firm from Walgreens Boots Alliance where she developed and built their Intellectual Property (IP) department. She has a background in medical biochemistry and a masters in intellectual property law, and in her new role she will work with the IP Advisory team on IP operations optimisation projects.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Tyler joins Deloitte as a partner to lead the Real Assets Technology team, helping owners and occupiers optimise their real estate portfolios through complex digital transformations.
Tyler joins the firm after seven years at IBM. He is an expert in complex digital transformations that help owners and occupiers optimise their real estate portfolios and ecosystems using big data, Internet of things (IoT)/Edge, AI and Blockchain solutions.
Additionally, Claire Foxall joins as a partner in the Government and Infrastructure practice within Advisory Corporate Finance. She spent the past 12 years working as an independent consulting practitioner, after starting her career with Accenture focusing on public sector clients.
Foxall specialises in complex procurements, as well as how to implement new social value, diversity and inclusion policies within a supply chain.
These follow the appointment of Bhaskar Acharya as a partner in the Corporate Turnaround practice in January. In his new role, he is working alongside Chris Skinner in the firm’s Performance Improvement services offering in the UK, with a focus on originating special situations.
Previously, he was a principal at Apollo Global Management, focused on private credit, distressed debt and special situations.
Richard Bell, head of Financial Advisory at Deloitte, said: “These three appointments show the depth of our specialist sector reach as we branch out from the traditional corporate finance offering.
“Taken together, these three leaders in their field show a clear direction of travel as we continue on a path of growth right across our Financial Advisory business and into new areas.”
