Confirming their split in an Instagram post, Denise wrote: ‘Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.
‘It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship. I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made.
‘We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children.’

Meanwhile, her spokesman said: ‘Denise is understandably upset about the news, but she remains optimistic for the future.
‘Her priority is looking after her daughter and continuing to work on the many exciting projects she has coming up this year.’
Denise and Eddie had been an item for seven years and shared a home in Essex with her daughter Besty, 11, whom she shares with West End star Lee Mead.
Eddie is father to Jordan, 25, and 22-year-old Leah from a previous relationship.
The couple previously ‘flirted’ with the idea of expanding their family before going against the idea.
Denise told The Sun earlier last year: ‘We sort of flirted with the idea of it two or three years ago but then realised that we have a really nice life.’
The split comes just days after Denise said she is prioritising home improvements over marrying her long-term partner Eddie this year.

The actress and singer explained how she would rather get a new garden patio in 2022 than wed commodities trader Eddie.
Denise, who has appeared with Eddie on Celebrity Gogglebox, insisted at the time that she was in no hurry to say ‘I do’ as she doesn’t want the hassle of planning her big day during the coronavirus pandemic.
The star told the Mirror: ‘We’ve not really been focusing on organising a wedding because we’ve been trying to get the house finished and get final things done, like a new patio.
‘Besides, you can’t plan for anything at the moment so there’s no rush to do anything.
‘Young people plan weddings because they want to crack on and start a family but that’s not going to happen. It’s not like we are having any more children.’
And while she declared she was in no hurry to marry, she previously told how when they do tie the knot, they won’t be keeping the wedding plans a secret like Emma Bunton, 45, recent did.

Denise said when she and Eddie do set a date to get hitched they will not be ‘bothered about keeping it a secret, we’ll just tell people.’
The star told the Mirror that Emma’s surprise nuptials to Jade Jones, 42, after a 15-year engagement in front of a handful of guests was a ‘lovely’ idea.
‘I totally get why people do that, and I think it’s lovely that Emma and Jade did, but we do want to invite friends and family, so people will know about it!’
Denise first walked down the aisle to wed her daughter Betsy’s father Lee, 40, in 2009, however they separated in 2013.

Earlier this year, Denise and Eddie first unveiled their plans to tie the knot to Hello! magazine, stating: ‘After we’ve finished our podcast and this dreadful lockdown ends, there will be wedding bells.
‘Betsy is desperate for us to get married; she tells us that all the time. We want to do it, too, surrounded by all our family and friends.’
