Speaking on air, Siegel said: “They pulled the plug on me and they said you cannot talk about what you’re talking about. Again, I like my boss personally… It’s not personal. It’s professional.”
“So I’m ending my portion of the radio show right now,” the host continued. “I don’t know… I just want to say, I love my listeners. I love you, and it’s been a hell of a run, but I think it’s coming to an end.”

Following his comments that he would quit the show, Matt Siegel returned for Thursday’s edition of Matty in the Morning.
He addressed what happened and reassured listeners that he won’t be leaving the radio show, saying (via NBC Boston):
“I did say that I was going to quit. The company reached out to me and said, ‘Please don’t. We support you and we will not be stopping you from saying what you want to say.’ So I said, ‘Okay.’
“Sorry to disappoint those of you who are excited that I was leaving, but I’m still here. And that’s it. It’s going to be good and I don’t want to talk about anymore.”

Demi Lovato comes out as non-binary
The ‘Confident’ and ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer came out as non-binary this week, telling fans that they have changed their pronouns from she/her to they/them.
“Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all,” Demi wrote on Twitter. “I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.”
Demi added: “I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones. Please keep living in your truths & know I am sending so much love your way.”
