Diddy’s former head of security, Roger Bonds, is ready to say his piece and spill the beans regarding Cassie’s allegations against her ex.
Bonds, who worked for Diddy from the 2000s through the 2010s and lived with him in Beverly Hills until 2013, took to his Instagram Story on Friday (November 24) revealing he will be soon be revealing what he saw transpire.
Cassie name-dropped Bonds (born Roderick Roland) in her recent lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul, claiming he witnessed an alleged beatdown she received at the hands of the famed producer.
According to court documents, Diddy was angered when he heard Cassie talk with another Los Angeles music manager at a nightclub and took his rage out on her. Bonds attempted to intervene, to no avail.
“This is not meant to be threats or snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else. this is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only,” he wrote, without confirming or denying the allegations.
“1st because I have 4 daughters so on all dudes my truth as I seen it, saw it and was involved with it for yrs… I’M WILLING TO TELL MY TRUTH BECAUSE FOR SO MANY YRS I WAS QUIET, Nothing matters now but FAMILY.”
Roger Bonds — who has long been advocating for the release of his son, who has been held in a prison in Namibia on murder charges since 2011 – added in another post that he doesn’t want people reaching out to him now looking to exploit him for his past.
“If you haven’t been texting me or calling me or checking on my SON situation please don’t call me now if it’s not to help with his APPEAL. That goes for everyone,” the post read.
Earlier this month, Cassie filed a disturbing lawsuit against Diddy — who dated on-and-off from 2007 through 2018) — alleging trafficking, sexual abuse, assault and more.
She went on to reach a settlement with Diddy less than 24 hours later, although the financial terms were not disclosed.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) said in a statement (via the Post). “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Diddy shared his own statement, in which he explained the former couple had come to an agreement amicably.
“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” he said. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best.”
