Emily Crisp knows how much Jolene adores her Gumby plush, so she came up with a hilarious idea to please the pup. She asked her boyfriend, Ben Mesches, to dress up as Gumby in front of Jolene. He agreed to do it without hesitation, and he was ready for the role.

“Believe it or not, I already had the costume,” Mesches said.

In the famous video, Mesches enters the room dressed as Gumby while Jolene chews on her Gumby toy. Jolene pauses what she’s doing and stares at him in disbelief for a few moments. Then, she gets up and cautiously approaches him.

After Jolene got all her excitement out, she fell asleep beside her toy. Mesches said that the pup loves to use her Gumby as a pillow. Her love for her toy is incredibly heartwarming.
