Footage of a Bichon Frise looking unrecognisable after a much-needed trip to the dog groomer has melted hearts – with viewers saying he gets “cuter and cuter”.
In the video, uploaded by popular South Korean YouTube channel Shu and Tree, the little white dog is given an immaculate makeover after starting off looking a bit of a mess.
The fluffy pooch can barely see because his curly hair has grown over his eyes, and his fur is stained brown around his mouth where he’s been eating.
Firstly, the dog is shaved with an electric razor to remove some of the accumulation of fluff.

He then has a lovely long bath and a massage on his face, which looks like it is so relaxing it’s putting him to sleep.
The dog is then given a blow-dry and turns into a ball of cotton wool – which is slowly tamed as the groomer begins to snip away with a pair of scissors.
Finally, he is given a close cut around his floppy ears which makes it look like he is wearing a pink bow.
The video was uploaded with the caption: “Oh sorry I didn’t recognize you.”

Unsurprisingly, it has been a huge hit with more than 175,000 viewers and hundreds of dog lovers flocking to comment on how angelic the pup looked with his new cut.
One person gushed: “So cute. I am happy to see a slightly different shape to the face rather than the round teddy cut. Very lovely.”
Another fan swooned: “I thought there’s a ribbon behind her ears in the thumbnail but it’s her ears only… So adorable.”
“Beautiful dog! The cut looks wonderful!” said another person.
Someone else commented: “I like how he gets cuter and cuter as the cut goes on.”
This comes after another cute dog was treated to a stunning makeover when he was found abandoned at a rubbish tip in a filthy and neglected condition.
With his new-found look, he even found a forever home.
