It seems like Drake is still celebrating the success of his last album Certified Lover Boy as he took to Instagram to show off his new jewelry, a chain made of different emojis.
The extravagant piece of jewelry was specially designed for the rapper by NYC Luxury.
The necklace consists of several emojis, of which, one is an eggplant. Social media users, who are aware of the usage of this emoticon in texting lingo, are wondering why Drake chose to have it in his chain.

Drake’s emoji chain explored
The emoji chain bought by Drake is reportedly diamond-covered.
It featured 23 different emotions in total, including piano, owl, devil, heart skull, and of course, an eggplant.
The chain also has a pregnant woman, which is featured in the CLB album cover designed by Damien Hirst.
After showing it off on Instagram, the rapper reportedly wore it to the Lakers vs. Rockets game at L.A.’s Staples Center on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
The cost of the luxury jewelry hasn’t been disclosed.
Twitter trolls rapper’s chain for including eggplant emoji
For the uninitiated, the eggplant emoji is not just a long purple eggplant, but it is often used to represent male genitalia in texting lingo.
While many loved Drake’s new jewelry, they couldn’t help but talk about the eggplant emoji in it.
One tweeted, “Drake emoji chain cool but, mans gotta explain the purple eggplant on his neck everytime out with the guys”
Another added, “bro Drake went to the jewellery and really said “I want a (eggplant emoji) on my emoji chain”
Adding to the above tweets, another said, “Drake havin the eggplant emoji in his emoji chain is nasty.”
Certified Lover Boy continues to rule BillBoard 200 album chart
It only makes sense for the rapper to treat himself with the fanciest jewelry as CLB has returned to occupy the top spot on Billboard 200 album chart.
According to Billboard.com, CLB is enjoying its fifth consecutive week on top.
Drake also broke the 2021 record by becoming the most-streamed artist in a single day on Apple Music when CLB was released.
