DO you want flies with that? A driver escaped unhurt after their car landed on top of another in a freak accident at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
The silver Vauxhall Vectra lost control on a roundabout, crashed through a barrier and on to a blue VW as its driver was about to place an order.
The woman and her partner were in a van with their four year old son when the flying car landed on them.
The mum said: “I didn’t see anything as I was in a van facing forward. We only heard the crash from behind us.
“We were a few minutes before the blue car pulled in with a four year old in the car so we were extremely lucky.
“He was shook up. We all were after we saw what had happened behind us.
“The noise was enough to scare him.
“I don’t think it was a family in the car that was hit. As far as I could see it was just one person.”
Police were quickly on scene and temporarily closed the road and drive through.
The car was later lifted clear in Wakefield, West Yorks.
