Sky News host Cory Bernardi says the Extinction Rebellion protesters use implements made by the industries they profess to hate and see nothing wrong with this.
“That’s so true of so many in the outrage and grievance industry for example those hellbent on liberating animals don’t want some animals to actually live because they produce methane and methane is bad for the planet,” he said.
Mr Bernardi said activists often have warring goals and need to “choose one over the other” and “interfere with all of us” through their methods of public protest.
“They destroy businesses, they disrupt lives and they have scant regard for the law but who can blame them when mostly they get little more than a slap on the wrist.”
