6:25pm: England are the favourites to come out on top in tonight’s clash, but will be wary of the threat posed by Steve Clarke’s Scotland side.
The two sides last met in a dramatic 2018 World Cup qualifier at hampden Park, which Scotland thought they had won courtesy of two late free-kicks from Leigh Griffths.
But Harry Kane struck in the third minute of stoppage time to earn a point for England, much to the disappointment of the Tartan Army.

6.15pm: Gareth Southgate is hoping to have Harry Maguire back in contention to start against Scotland tonight but it is still to be seen if England will continue with the four at the back, which they used against Croatia, or switch to a five.
John Stones sat alongside Tyrone Mings in the heart of the defence, with Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier in the full-back positions.
Maguire’s inclusion could see him slot in alongside Stones if Southgate opts to mix things up.
At the other end of the pitch, talisman Harry Kane is expected to lead the line and Croatia match-winner Raheem Sterling could retain his place, leaving the spot on the other flank up for grabs.
6pm: Good evening and welcome to Express Sport’s live coverage of England against Scotland from Wembley.
Gareth Southgate’s side can book their place in the knockout stages if they follow up last week’s win over Croatia with another victory.
Raheem Sterling scored the only goal of the game as the Three Lions exacted World Cup revenge on Luka Modric and co.
Meanwhile, Scotland are looking to bounce back from their opening-round 2-0 defeat against Czech Republic.
