This week, Taylor Swift revealed that her new vault track I Bet You Think About Me, which features Chris Stapleton, is actually supposed to be a drinking song.
In an interview with Boston radio station 102.5, she said: “We wanted to kind of make people laugh with it and we wanted it to be sort of a drinking song. I think that that’s what it ended up being.”
Speaking of alcohol, the Pennsylvania native has just mentioned drinking yet again when she shared some hilarious throwback photos of herself when she was drunk, and fans are in stitches on Twitter.
Taylor Swift shares photos of her drunk self
Taylor took to Instagram on Thursday (November 18th) to share some hilarious photos of herself when she was drunk.
The singer posted a reel where she lip-synced the lyrics of her track Nothing New from the vault which features Phoebe Bridgers.
“I think I’ve had too much to drink,” she mouthed before the camera cut to a series of images where she had clearly had a little too much to drink.
In the photos, Taylor is wearing a multicoloured sequin dress and has her hair all over her face.
On top, she wrote the words: “Drunk Taylor was her name, mojitos were her game.”
Then, in the caption she added: “I cringe but I miss her. Your move @phoebebridgers.”

Over on Twitter, fans think the drunk photos of Taylor are totally hilarious.

Taylor posted the hilarious clip on her TikTok too where it’s accumulated 6.2 million views and 1.5 million likes.
