Ubisoft has seemingly included a teaser for a multiplayer Far Cry game via QR code within Far Cry 6‘s game world, according to a YouTuber who has been spending time with the open-world sequel ahead of launch.
JorRaptor discovered the QR on a crate early on in Far Cry 6, which, when scanned with a mobile phone, takes you to a six-second video featuring an animated gun cylinder with a face. There’s also a map with three arrows on it, which has been speculated represents players.
In addition, there’s also a brief glimpse of animal tokens as well as a shot of a player being attacked by an armoured creature, leading to gun shots and blood splatters on the map. From the look of things, it could be a multiplayer spin-off is in the pipeline, although Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything yet.
