Sheriff’s Office arrest driver
LA GRANGE, Texas – On Sunday, Feb. 6, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged an individual with a felony for smuggling drugs. In a press release, Sargent Randy Thumann and his partner Kolt said driver Eric Olachea was in a Toyota Tacoma. After stopping him on I-H 10 at the 671 marker, they suspected he had illegal narcotics. Once given consent to search the vehicle, Kolt discovered two large PVC pipes with 15 pounds of meth valued at $400,000.

Afterwards, Olachea was taken to the Dan. R. Beck Justice Center. He is originally from Spring Valley, California.
