Sheriff Keith Korenek reported two deputy promotions to Night Patrol Sergeants
FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas – Several deputy promotions took place within the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for the new year. Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported two deputy promotions to Night Patrol Sergeants, through the new 2022 budget.
Lt. David Beyer released the following statement:
“This is a great move to prepare for the future of our department”, states Lt. David Beyer. “With this addition, we will have supervisor coverage 24/7. This will benefit not only our department members but the community as well. We strive to have an excellent and knowledgeable department that Fayette County can rely on.”
The department promoted Benjamin Wilson and Ryan Meagher to Patrol Sergeant. Wilson has worked with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for about 16 years. He brings an array of patrol experience and wisdom to the table. Meagher has worked for the department for nearly 4 years. He is one of the most proactive and ambitious members of the department.
Sheriff Korenek also reported several Deputy Star promotions. Deputy stars range from 1-5 stars, depending on years of service and productivity.
Promoted to Deputy 5 Stars were:
Michael Krenek, Herman Olvera, and James Ulbig. Promoted to Deputy 4 Stars were: AJ Gonzales, Dustin Kieschnick, and Jared Michalec. Promoted to Deputy 3 Stars were: Austin Moore, Lee Phillips, Seth Nagel, and Orlando Buitron.
