Authorities have found two black boxes and debris after locating the wreckage of the Indonesia plane crash in the Java Sea.
The Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182, which carried 62 passengers and crew members including 10 children, plunged into the sea shortly after it took off at Jakarta airport on Saturday, January 9.
Footage shared by the Indonesia Navy shows divers finding pieces of the Boeing 737 jet along the seabed.
The diver is seen pointing out the metal scraps and cable-like debris as he continues to search for bodies.
A description wrote on the Indonesia Navy’s official Instagram stated: “Without giving up, the joint SAR team from the Jalamangkara Detachment (Denjaka) and the Indonesian Navy’s Underwater Rescue Service continued to carry out dives to find the victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJY182 plane who had experienced a disaster.”

According to local media, it is reported that the search group earlier pulled body parts, wreckage and clothing from waters off Indonesia’s capital Jakarta.
Soerjanto Tjahjanto, head of Indonesia’s transport safety agency, said: “”We have located the position of the black boxes, both of them.
“Divers will start looking for them now and hopefully it won’t be long before we get them.”

Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo expressed his “deep condolences”, and called on citizens to “pray together so that victims can be found”.
The search and rescue agency said it had so far collected five body bags with human remains as well as debris from the crash site in the Java Sea.
A piece of child’s clothing, a broken tyre and wheel, life jackets and wreckage from the plane’s body were found, according to authorities and AFP reporters on the scene.
