Let’s face it, we all want a toned stomach and some abs, right?
It’s not easy building a ripped physique as it takes months if not years of good nutrition and fitness workouts.
While most people think it’s all about how much you train, that’s where they’re wrong.
One influencer, known as Loz Fitness, is now trying to spread awareness as she revealed the “truth about abs”.
Posting to her 48,500 followers on Instagram, she wrote a long caption about fitness.
She wrote: “The truth about abs…
“I feel like it’s still such a misconception that to get abs, you have to do lots of abs workouts. Let me tell you – that’s not true.”
She told fans to stop overworking their abs thinking that it’ll build a toned stomach.
The influencer added: “They need rest like any muscle, so don’t work them out every day. Also doing abs will NOT make them visible.
“Yes the muscles will build but you must eat in a calorie deficit to remove the layer of fat that lies on top of your abs.
“BUT it’s 2022 who cares about visible abs! It’s about being happy and confident with your body, whether you have abs or not.”
She concluded: “Having a toned stomach every single day for your life will be a tough and unhappy life.
“Eat what you like and be HAPPY.”
Since she gave fans the heads up on her Instagram page, the post racked up over 2,000 likes in the space of a day.
One fan gushed: “You are a whole VIBE,” while another added: “Looking so strong girl.”

A third admitted: “Big yes to this! Some days I have abs, other days I don’t.
“It used to bother me but I’ve learnt that visible abs really doesn’t define my worth, health or fitness levels!”
And a fourth hailed: “Preach it, girl,” as a fifth also commented: “Amen.”
