A beachgoer has filmed the moment she was blasted by a woman for her choice of bikini at a family beach.
Australian fitness influencer Natasha Maree, who is known as “getfitwithnatasha” on her social media accounts, accused the woman of “having a go” at her because she was wearing a thong bikini at an Adelaide beach.
In the clip viewed nearly 82,000 times, Natasha is seen wearing a thong bikini as she stands in a beach shower to wash off the sand.
As she turns around, a woman walks up a ramp and dips in the water to wash her foot.
The pair appear to exchange a few words before the woman walks off.
Natasha’s boyfriend, who is filming at the time, turns to ask the beachgoer: “You think the G-string is not good. Not a fan?”
She stops and replies: “It’s great but there are a lot of kids here, a lot of families here and a lot of people are like… dressing like that.
“But thanks for putting me on Facebook.”
Natasha later wrote in the post: “Woman at the end had a go at me for wearing a bikini at the beach. Karen doesn’t want me in a bikini.”
Viewers were strangely divided and took to TikTok to share their thoughts.
One said: “What she’s wearing is inappropriate, kids at the beach, young boys.”
“I agree with her,” another wrote. “I wouldn’t want to see people in G-string either.”
Natasha defended her completely acceptable outfit, saying people “can choose to look”.
And, thankfully, plenty of viewers showed their support and said the beachgoer was jealous of the body.
“I’ll never get people taking offence to the naked body,” one commented. “We all have the parts, as long as it’s not sexualising abuse or harassment, who cares.”
“Clearly she was jealous,” a second added and a third asking: “Since when can’t kids see bums?”
