Bernard Tomic’s girlfriend Vanessa Sierra is one of the breakout stars of this year’s Australian Open – and she doesn’t even play tennis.

Her transformation from reality TV also-ran to fully fledged celebrity spouse was complete on Monday when she was pictured in the crowd supporting her boyfriend in his match against Japan’s Yūichi Sugita.

Despite the talent on the court, Vanessa ensured all eyes were on her as she oozed sophistication with her freshly blow-dried hair and tasteful application of makeup.
She has even managed to catch the attention of American tabloids, which have been covering her attendance at the tennis tournament.

‘I normally have hairdressers do it twice a week for me.’

The Gold Coast influencer later backpedalled on her remarks, but claimed she’d been sent ‘up to 500 death threats’ amid the backlash.
She said her whinge about quarantine had been taken out of context by the media and that her video was supposed to be a fun, light-hearted account of her daily life with Bernard.
As the public outrage grew, Vanessa caught the ire of outspoken tennis player Nick Kyrgios and even former Labor leader Bill Shorten.
Vanessa, is that you? The brunette bombshell looked worlds away from the days of her building her OnlyFans following last year, alongside Luke Erwin (R)
‘I don’t mind Bernie but his Mrs obviously has no perspective, ridiculous scenes,’ Kyrgios tweeted, adding a facepalm emoji.
Shorten then said on the Today show: ‘Listen, I hadn’t heard of this lady Vanessa. But I googled her and I’m not sure she gets Covid and how serious it is.’
Before dating Bernard, Vanessa made headlines as one of the first Australian reality stars to use the adults-only subscription platform OnlyFans.
Regrettable: Vanessa’s new look certainly heralded a change from the beginnings of her OnlyFans days while she was trying to increase her following
She joined the website with her then boyfriend Luke Erwin in early 2020.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia about their controversial career move at the time, Vanessa said they were simply ahead of the curve by joining OnlyFans.
‘I’m not scared to make moves and always jump on social media platforms before the crowd,’ she said.
‘Everyone seems so shocked yet in a couple of years it will be the norm to have an OnlyFans account.’
