Gordon Ramsay was mercilessly mocked after selling his £19 Full English breakfast.
On Twitter, the movie star chef wrote: “Essentially the most wonderful Full English… Can’t wait so that you can strive it from 21st September at Savoy Grill!”
The dish, served on the upmarket Savoy Grill in London, comes with two eggs, bacon, a sausage, a tomato and a mushroom.
It’s not the most important brekkie we’ve ever seen, which might be why Twitter customers had been angered by the value tag.
One responder requested: “‘Full? As in what nobody can be after consuming that pitifully small plateful?”
One other questioned: “The place’s the remainder of it?”
A 3rd wrote: “Overpriced and lacking substances. Bin.”
And a fourth added: “That is an absolute abomination.”
Others had been angered that it prices £5 so as to add any extras to the breakfast.
You’d should pay an additional fiver for an additional sausage, for instance.
A critic stated: “Cannot wait so that you can strive it!!!!! Are the perimeters £5 every or is that for all of them????
“Who’s mug sufficient to pay a fiver for one sausage??? Get a grip GR.”
If that wasn’t sufficient criticism, others had been fuming that parts of the Full English breakfast appeared like they had been not noted.
Until you pay for extras, there’s no baked beans, black pudding or hash browns.
One Twitter person joked: “Lacking, presumed useless: hashbrowns, crispy bits on the eggs, one other sausage, black pudding, haggis, potato scone, beans that truly need to be part of the occasion and never sit offshore on their very own non-public yacht.”
One other stated: “Black pudding? Hash brown? Beans? Come on, don’t be shy.”
And a 3rd added: “That’s NOT a full English. The place is the black pudding?”
