Haas have launched an internal investigation after their incoming 2021 driver Nikita Mazepin posted a video on social media which showed him putting his hand on a woman’s breast. The 21-year-old is set to make his step up from F2 to F1 next season.
The Russian has found himself in hot water for appearing to inappropriately touch a woman in the back of a car.
In the video posted on Mazepin’s personal Instagram story, the motorsport star is shown the middle finger as he leans in to the lady.
The video has since been taken down but Haas are furious with their new man.
“Haas F1 Team does not condone the behaviour of Nikita Mazepin in the video recently posted on his social media,” the F1 team said in a statement.
“Additionally, the very fact that the video was posted on social media is also abhorrent to Haas F1 Team.

“I posted this video on his story as an internal joke. I can give you my word he’s a really good person and he would never do anything to hurt or humiliate me.”
Mazepin was only announced as an F1 driver last week following his fifth placed finish in the F2 standings.
He will race alongside Mick Schumacher, who won the F2 Championship this term.
