Palestinian extremist group Hamas has transferred three more hostages to Red Cross representatives in the Gaza Strip, a live broadcast of the handover ceremony showed on Saturday.
The three men, Omer Shem-Tov, Omer Wenkert and Eliya Cohen, were abducted during the October 7 attacks on Israel some 16 months ago.
They were handed over to the Red Cross in the refugee camp of Nuseirat in central Gaza in accordance with the terms of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
Two hostages were freed in the southern city of Rafah earlier on Saturday, while long-term captive Hisham al-Sayed, who has been held by Hamas for around 10 years, is due to be released in another location.
As part of the latest hostages-for-prisoners swap under the ceasefire agreement, which took effect on January 19, 602 Palestinian prisoners are set to be released from Israeli jails on Saturday, including 50 serving life sentences.
