Has Margot Robbie deactivated her Instagram account?
It appears so!
The 31-year-old actress no longer seems to be an active IG user. If you click on her handle name, which was @margotrobbie, a blank page appears on the screen.
Prior, Robbie had quite the social media presence and frequently posted selfies and photos with friends to over 23M followers!
We’re not sure if Robbie is taking a social media detox or if the actress has gone completely cold turkey on IG.
Margot also deleted her Twitter a few months prior.
Twitter speculates why the actress left IG
After IG deactivation, Robbie’s fan base shifted into amateur sleuths, keen to know why the Australian left the photo-sharing platform.
Fans think that the 31-year-old might have deleted her Instagram account in relation to the social media hiatus that she announced back in June.
At the time, Robbie wrote: “Jumping off social media for the time being. Check out @luckychapentertainment if you’re interested in what we’re up to, otherwise ciao for now!”
So, it could be that it’s just taken the actress until now to get rid of IG, following the social media break.
Others think that Robbie might have just needed a break from the pressure of being a celebrity and all.
One user wrote: “She did well, remaining on social media while being a celebrity its pure danger.”
Somebody else tweeted: “As she continues to live her best life.”
Margot Robbie hasn’t officially stated why she has left social media.
What has the Suicide Squad star been up to?
We may not be able to keep tabs on Robbie’s life on social media anymore, but we can tell you that she has been a busy woman!
According to E! News, she’s set to star in and produce the new movies ‘Barbie’ and ‘Marian’.
Plus, she’s just reprised her role of Harley Quinn in DC’s ‘The Suicide Squad’.
There’s no wonder Robbie doesn’t have the time for Insta snaps!
