In a separate clip later posted to the Miss Universe Thailand page, Itsaragrisil appeared to invite the delegates back “except Mexico,” adding that “she’s talking too much.”

Following the confrontation, Miss Mexico and several other contestants walked out of the room. Those who joined the walkout included the current Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær Theilvig, along with Miss Armenia, Miss Canada, Miss Palestine, Miss Bahamas, Miss Cape Verde, Miss Spain, Miss Belize, Miss Bolivia, and Miss Bulgaria.

The current Miss Universe also expressed her support for Bosch, commending her for standing up against disrespectful treatment.
Miss Universe Mexico issues statement of support
The Miss Universe Mexico organization also released a statement condemning the incident and expressing solidarity with Bosch. “What happened today with @fatimaboschfdz in Thailand is unacceptable. No woman, on any stage, deserves to be insulted or humiliated,” the statement read as quoted by remezcla.
“Today and always, Mexico stands with you, Fátima. Your strength, your class, and your voice represent the best of our nation,” it added.
Miss Universe Organization also responds
In response to the controversy, the Miss Universe Organization issued an official statement reaffirming its commitment to a respectful and inclusive environment. However, it did not mention Nawat Itsaragrisil or directly reference the confrontation.
The statement said that “All scheduled events and activities will continue as planned, reaffirming our shared goal of delivering an exceptional celebration that reflects the values of diversity, empowerment, and inclusion that define the Miss Universe legacy.”
