Heartbreaking clip shows Orso skiing
Days before Gaspard died in a tragic skiing accident, Gaëlle shared a clip which following the news of the actor’s death, is incredibly heartbreaking.
The video, shared to the model’s Instagram last week, shows their son Orso skiing in the French Alps.
Dressed in a green and orange ski outfit, he glides impressively down the piste, steering through arches and having the time of his life.
Just a week later, Gaspard passed away after colliding with another person on the slopes.
He just celebrated his birthday
In the caption, Gaëlle revealed that the skiing video was taken on Orso’s sixth birthday.
“And just like that… BAM ?,” she wrote before adding: “Happy Birthday to the love of my life. #birthday #boy #Orso.”
Tributes to Gaspard are flooding social media following his death, with French Prime Minister Jean Castex tweeting:
“Gaspard Ulliel grew up with cinema and cinema grew with him. They loved each other madly. It is with a heavy heart that we will no longer see his most beautiful interpretations. We have lost a French actor.”
Canadian filmmaker, actor, and costume designer Xavier Dolan wrote on Instagram:
“This is unimaginable, insane and so painful to even think about writing this words. Your quiet laugh. Your watchful eye. Your scar. Your talent. Your listening. Your whispers. Your kindness. Every feature of your personality was actually made from a sparkly sweetness.”
“It’s your whole being that transformed by life, a being that I loved deeply, and I will always love. I can’t say anything else, I’m drained, ringing by your departure,” he continued.
