Comedian Heather McDonald shared video of the moment that she fainted on stage during a stand-up comedy show that resulted in a fractured skull.
The 51-year-old comedian, who rose to fame through her appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, was performing at The Tempe Improv on Saturday night when she collapsed on stage after delivering her second joke.
She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for a fractured skull, revealing Tuesday on TikTok and Instagram the video of her collapsing on stage.

The video featured a robotic narrator stating, ‘When you faint on stage after bragging about being vaccinated.
The video begins with McDonald stating, ‘I don’t mean to brag, I know you don’t care, but I want you to know, double vaxxed, booster, flu shot. And I’m going to be honest, I’ve got the shingles shot too.’

As the crowd started laughing and applauding, McDonald added, ‘And I still get my period. What? YES!’
She added that she, ‘traveled, went to Mexico twice, did meet and greets, never got COVID. Clearly Jesus loves me the most, seriously.’
As the crowd laughed again, she started another joke stating, ‘So nice. So nice,’ before wobbling on stage and collapsing to the floor.

The brief video then showed her Juicy Scoop podcast co-host Justin Martindale jokingly breaking into the Smash Mouth song All Star.
After her collapse, she took to her Instagram story from the emergency room to give fans an update on her condition.
‘So I’m in the emergency room. I look weird. Oh my God, I’m so so so so so sorry. I passed out on stage,’ she began.

‘I got up, I did one joke and I felt so dizzy. You can see my eye, I fell on my eye. Oh my God I cannot believe this happened, I feel so terrible that they had to tell everyone to leave and then cancel the second show,’ she added.
The comedienne added that she has ‘never, ever’ fainted in her life.
