Here’s everything coming to Netflix in July 2022 (more ‘Stranger Things’!), and what’s leaving

Here’s all you need to know: Netflix’s “Stranger Things” is back July 1, with Part 2 of its fourth season.

“Stranger Things” returned in late May with seven supersized episodes, and will conclude Season 4 with two super-duper sized episodes (1 hour and 25 minutes, and 2 hours and 30 minutes, respectively) as the teen heroes from Hawkins confront their latest big bad, Vecna, with the future of the world at stake. Expect a monstrous season finale, in every possible sense — and maybe even some more Kate Bush.

Believe it or not, Netflix

has a few other, non-“Stranger Things” offerings as well.

Ryan Gosling stars in “The Gray Man” (July 22), a new action thriller from the Russo Brothers (“Avengers: Endgame”), as a mercenary being hunted by assassins, co-starring Chris Evans, Regé-Jean Page and Ana de Armas.

Jane Austen fans can look forward to “Persuasion” (July 15), starring Dakota Johnson and Cosmo Jarvis in an adaptation of the classic period romance. Lara Condor (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”) has a new limited series, “Boo Bitch” (July 8), about a goody-goody high school senior who decides to finally let loose only to suddenly find herself a ghost. Sandra Oh stars in another ghostly series, “Umma” (July 16), as a single mom haunted by her dead mother. There’s also a new season of the small-town romantic drama “Virgin River” (July 20), and “Resident Evil” (July 14), a gory thriller based on the popular videogame series.

Netflix also has a solid crop of incoming movies, including “Boogie Nights,” “Catch Me If You Can,” “GoodFellas,” “Mean Girls” “Old School” and “Seven.”

And binge-watchers beware: All 12 seasons of “Criminal Minds” are leaving Netflix June 29, and the streaming service will also lose all seven seasons of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” (July 1) and “30 Rock” (July 31).

Here’s the full list of what’s coming and going in July, as of June 22 (release dates are subject to change):
