A story on Tuesday, Nov. 23 about the fourth bore of the Caldecott Tunnel being named after the late congresswoman Ellen Tauscher incorrectly reported that the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act included funding for the tunnel expansion. It did not, although state and regional transportation agencies ultimately allocated $197 million from the bill’s funding for that purpose.
